Five dollars
As mentioned in this post, I love reading Heather Poole’s blog on a daily basis. Since she is a flight attendant, I had written her about a past First Class experience that was amazing. I had also written her about a recent return trip from Palm Springs where I had a another great experience with a very cool flight attendant on that flight involving a $5 bill. She posted my email on her blog - way cool! Read about it here on her blog.
In your travels as a singer, have you had any cool flight or travel experiences? Leave a comment!

Site-Singing/Site-Seeing
We singers know about travel. We travel to auditions and we travel to gigs. I’m so glad we have the internet, Facebook, tweets and Skype so that we can all stay in touch as we hopscotch across the world. Even though I’m lucky enough to be living in the tri-state area where most of my past gigs are only a train ride away, I also dream of living out the travel itinerary of my dreams. I have a list of the places I would like to go. I love to travel almost as much as I like coming home again. I used to be afraid to fly. A lot of people in my family still are. I’m sure you have heard of people who fear something and then dive right in to face it and end up loving it. I’m one of those people with flying. I visit travel sites frequently, either to peruse for frequent flyer information where I can get cheap tickets or read blogs about people in the aviation industry whether it be pilots or flight attendants. I have some favorites that I visit when I SHOULD BE PRACTICING! One is Heather Poole , who is a flight attendant for a major commercial airline. Her current post up today involves the laviator’s club where flyers are invited to take a picture of themselves in an airplane bathroom. Another is AIRBOY, who I happened upon during my 31-Day to BBB course where I had to find websites that I liked and why I liked them. Airboy is a flight attendant based in Dubai who’s website is a great balance of information and media interactivity that I would like if I had more time and more bandwhidth. His music selections are awesome. I discovered an awesome Lily Allen/Massive Attack Music mix there that is fabu! Singers and travel is a part of our lives. Are there any other cool travel sites I should know about? P.S. – I discovered Skype only a handful of months ago and I lurve!

This is a shot outside of my resort window on a business trip. Was I working hard or hardly working? You decide.
